Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Arturo's arrives with some real weight to it — 200+ labels spanning Tuscany, Piedmont, Napa, and beyond. It signals that someone here cares about wine, or at least cared at some point. The Italian backbone is strong, which makes sense given the kitchen, but the pricing starts giving us pause before we've even ordered bread.
The Italian coverage is genuinely solid: you've got Brunello di Montalcino from both La Gerla 'Campo Novo' and Petraiolo, Barolo from Tenute Neirano, and a couple of Chianti Classico Riservas anchoring the Tuscan section — this is the kind of Italian red depth you don't always find in South Florida. The California contingent leans hard on crowd-pleasers: Caymus, Belle Glos, Daou, Orin Swift's 'Abstract' — dependable names that move bottles but don't exactly push anyone's boundaries. There's a Nik Weis Riesling from the Mosel, a Triennes rosé from Provence, and a Decero Malbec from Mendoza to round things out globally. The list is Italy-first with a Napa safety net, which is the right call for this room — it just doesn't venture too far off the beaten path.
The by-the-glass program runs roughly 20-25 options across red, white, rosé, and sparkling, with prices ranging from $10 to $28 a pour — Caymus Cab even comes in both 4 oz and 6 oz pours, which is a nice touch for a wine that commands a premium. The selections mirror the bottle list: Italian-leaning but California-padded, with the Borgo Magredo Pinot Grigio and Silverado Sauvignon Blanc covering the lighter end. Rotation doesn't appear to be a priority; this reads more like a standing roster than a living, breathing program.
Canard-Duchêne Cuvée Léonie Brut NV Champagne — $71
At 78% over retail, this is the least-punishing markup on the list — and it's actual Champagne, not Prosecco dressed up for the occasion. In a room where markups routinely run 150-230%, this bottle stands out as the closest thing to a fair deal.
Riesling Kabinett Nik Weis 'Urban', Mosel, Germany
Most tables at Arturo's are reaching for the Chianti or Caymus, which means this Mosel Kabinett gets overlooked every night. Off-dry, low alcohol, and cut with enough acidity to handle a rich cream sauce or salty seafood — it's doing work that a lot of bigger bottles can't.
Zonin Prosecco DOC, Veneto
A $13 retail bottle marked up to $44 is a tough sell when better sparkling options exist on this same list. Zonin is fine — it's also what you find at every grocery store in America. At that markup, you're paying for the bubble, not the quality.
Brunello di Montalcino Petraiolo DOCG, Toscana + Shrimp Scampi or a butter-finished pasta
Actually, steer the Brunello toward any red-sauced pasta or a heavier meat dish — Sangiovese at this level wants acidity and structure to play against, and Arturo's red sauce pastas deliver exactly that. This is the list's strongest suit meeting the kitchen's comfort zone.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Arturo's is a dependable Italian-night-out with a wine list that earns its reputation on Italian reds — just go in knowing the markup is doing a lot of heavy lifting on the lower-end bottles. Drink the Brunello, skip the Prosecco, and you'll leave happy.
Midtown / Boca Center · Boca Raton · Upscale Casual American
Tap 42 is a great spot for craft beer and cocktails — the wine list is just along for the ride. Come on a Wednesday when $20 comes off the bottle price and the math gets a little less insulting, but don't make the wine the reason you're here.

The Beach Club is a beautiful place to have a drink, and the wine list is fine the same way a hotel room painting is fine — it won't offend anyone and it won't stick with you either. If wine actually matters to your evening, order a cocktail and save your money.

Palm Court isn't a wine destination — it's a resort lobby bar with a thoughtful-enough list to not embarrass itself. If you're staying at The Boca Raton and want a glass before dinner, you can drink well here without getting gouged, and that's more than most hotel lounges can say.
