First Impression
Walking into Victoria & Albert's, you forget entirely that you're inside a theme park โ imported crystal, harp music, and a wine list that runs 500-700 bottles deep have a way of doing that. This is Disney's flagship fine dining room, and the wine program is treated with the same seriousness as the tasting menu. The Best of Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator is not decorative.
Selection Deep Dive
The list is anchored hard in California, Bordeaux, and Burgundy, with Italy rounding things out impressively โ Antinori Tignanello, Gaja Barbaresco, and serious French classified growths like Chateau Margaux and Chateau Petrus sit alongside cult California producers like Screaming Eagle, Opus One, and Kistler. This is not a list built for casual Tuesday night drinking; it's built for the kind of meal you book six months out and charge to a rewards card you've been saving. The depth is real, though gaps in emerging regions and natural wine keep it from feeling truly adventurous. What it lacks in edge it more than makes up for in pedigree.
By the Glass
Twenty to thirty-five options by the glass is genuinely impressive for a restaurant running a chef's tasting format โ most places in this tier nudge you toward bottles and call it a day. The BTG list appears to track the bottle list's California and French priorities, giving you access to quality pours without committing to a full bottle during a two-plus hour meal. We'd love to see more rotation here, but what's on offer is well above the theme park baseline.
Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon โ $80
Jordan is the grounding wire on this list โ a wine that actually drinks for its price point. In a lineup that trends toward the stratosphere, finding a well-made Sonoma Cab at a relatively approachable number is the move for anyone who doesn't want to spend the price of a round-trip flight on a bottle.
Far Niente Chardonnay
It gets overshadowed by the Kistler name and the Burgundy section, but Far Niente's Chardonnay is a serious, cellar-worthy California white that most tables skip in favor of the bigger red selections. At a restaurant serving Dover sole and Maine lobster, this is the smartest pour on the list that nobody's ordering.
Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon
Screaming Eagle belongs on a list like this โ it's a trophy wine and the list would feel incomplete without it. But at Victoria & Albert's markup, you're paying a significant premium on top of an already secondary-market price. Unless someone else is signing the check, the allocation economics here don't work in your favor.
Antinori Tignanello + Roasted rack of lamb
Tignanello's Sangiovese-Cabernet Sauvignon-Cabernet Franc blend has the structure and dark fruit to stand up to roasted lamb without steamrolling it. It's the one bottle on the list that bridges Old World and New World sensibilities, which makes it the right call for the centerpiece meat course of a long tasting menu.

Victoria & Albert's wine program is the real deal โ deep, properly stored, and serious enough to earn its Wine Spectator credential without leaning on the Disney brand for cover. The markup is what it is at this level, but if you're already committing to the tasting menu, the wine list is worth the ride.
