First Impression

Walk in expecting hand-pulled noodles and you'll get them. Walk in expecting wine and you'll be reaching for the Tsingtao. The wine list here reads like an afterthought—a small selection of safe, uninspired bottles that clearly play second fiddle to the main event.

Selection Deep Dive

The wine program is minimal and appears to lean heavily on the usual suspects you'd find at any strip mall Asian restaurant. Think mass-market Pinot Grigio, maybe a basic Washington Riesling to nod at pairing potential, and a token red or two that nobody orders. There's no regional exploration, no interesting grower Champagnes, no German Rieslings that would sing with spicy Sichuan flavors, no orange wines to bridge umami-rich broths. It's a list built by someone who had to check a box, not someone who cares about the pairing possibilities between wine and noodles.

By the Glass

The by-the-glass selection is limited to whatever they can move quickly—probably three whites, two reds, max. Don't expect rotation or seasonal changes. The pours are functional, not thoughtful, and priced at what you'd pay at a corporate chain despite the artisan noodle concept.

💰Best Value

Dr. Loosen Riesling — $36

If they stock it, this Mosel classic has the acidity and slight sweetness to handle chili oil and won't break the bank

💎Hidden Gem

Kung Fu Girl Riesling

Often overlooked as too commercial, but Charles Smith's Washington Riesling actually has enough character to stand up to numbing spice

Skip This

House Chardonnay

Butter and oak with hand-pulled noodles is a flavor trainwreck—pass and order beer instead

🍽️Perfect Pairing

Pacific Rim Dry Riesling + Dan Dan Noodles

The wine's citrus snap cuts through sesame paste and Sichuan peppercorn heat without competing

The Bottom Line

Come for the artisan noodles, skip the wine entirely. This is a beer and tea spot that happens to have a few bottles gathering dust. Order the cocktails if you need something beyond lager.
